Name and shame quitters !!!!

  I think there should be a way of locking them out of the site until the game they left has finished!  That wey there's no reason to not finish.

  The only way WGT is going to rid the game of these morons is if they add a quit count to the players profile name or something. So when you enter a game or set up a game, its easy to see their reliability and you can leave or boot them.

  Unfortunately, this WONT happen as WGT dont care. They just like our Cash  !

  Excellent Idea!  Too many quitters out there...at least if they quit when it's not there turn the others remaining can continue....most quitters don't wait and end up killing the game for everyone.  I don't mind if losers leave and others continue....unless of course it's alternate.

  Quitting is a nuisance for others, yes. But I don't think that there's much that can be done. The WGT server really can't determine if the person's computer crashed or if the person him/herself has keeled over.

  Naming quitters on forums: The way I figure is that he quit on me which makes him impolite, so if I post his name here, then I'm no better, am I?

  One thing I wish I could have: A 'No-friend list'. That way I could add names of people I don't want to play with so WGT won't add me to any game they are already in.

  Can't out them here, but what if one of us set up our own website, just for people to reference in the case of being quit upon. Sure people get disconnected, but how come it is always after a missed putt? Errant drive?  WGT needs to make some kind of penalty for quitting, either penalize the quitters, OR, stop penalizing the remaining players with NO points for multi, after 9 holes with two F'n quitters that quit on the 9th hole, I am left with single player points, what a total waste of time. Alt is just as bad now, I just started playing alt and even tour masters and masters are quitting left and right. Something needs to be done.

  We have to be careful with this, one day last week, my connection disconnected and had to reboot pc to get it back and couldn't get back to the Alt shot game in time.

  The only Meter Problems I have now is when I use the Callaways, so I have to use a different Ball to play the game.

  Personally I would like to see something like this. You could use stars or golf balls for the graphics. Each person could click on a person and only rate them once but eventually everyones average would even out to a fair rating. It should be weighted so that it takes more to bring a players rating down to discourage player bashing. This would also encourage players to police themselves as well. Edit: Each person would start at 10 as the baseline.

   

  • 10 - Outstanding Opponent
  • 9 - Excellent Opponent 
  • 8 - Very good Opponent 
  • 7 - Good Opponent
  • 6 - Ok Opponent
  • 5 - Average Opponent
  • 4 - Not so good Opponent
  • 3 - Bad Opponent.
  • 2 - Extremely annoying Opponent
  • 1 - You won't catch me dead playing this Person

  Excellent solution...regardess of the reason for a quit/disconnect or any other reason. Locked out of any other game, untill the one that has been entered has a result.

  Just think how many posts on quittting would not have to clutter the forums....;)

  I have to hold my hands up because I quit a ranked game last week. Was on the 1st hole about to chip a 50 yrder next to pin and meter fluffed me into burn.  I told the other players I was raging and was quitting because I'd had enough and also that that was the 4th Callaway the stuttering meter had gobbled in as many hours that day.

   

  Don't others get annoyed when old porky eats 4 of their expensive Callaways in a few hours?

  I don't play MPC games but it still annoys the hell out of me and of course those who just hit crap shots and quit...well I don't agree with that either.
