This is just a general response to the thread. I will always tell people if I am thinking of quitting. I have on some occasions had to quit for legitimate reasons. The rest of the time when I am having a nightmare round I simply curse a lot and destroy my house (This happens a lot) BUT I stay in the game!

I would however like to request that people that are having a bad round only disconnect when they are not in play, as this freezes and crashes the game thus ruining it for the other players.

Is there anyway that WGT administrators can determine if people are quitting while in play rather than simply losing connection? If this is possible I would request that those guilty of freezing and crashing games are banned. If I have to suffer playing poorly then so should they.

Having ranted the above I would also like to point out that there are some nice curteous people that play fair out there too.

    Thanks

    Macinally

unacceptable,,,,,having to endure a *** game, thats 2 faced(like a lot who play it),and so unrealistic is un acceptable,,paying for the effin privelidge is worse,,,ppl will stop quittin wen ,the wind actually takes affect on all shots, wen a 75% strength chip shot over 6 yrds, actually goes further than the edge of the green, wen the break actually reads true, wen the meter stops pissin around, wen the game stops rippin u off,the better u play(i.e).-3 ater 3 holes at st andrews,,then all of a sudden,,from the 5th hole on,,cant get close,,its programmed to never let u win,,,lowest score ive ever seen,,,,,- effin 5,,,

Quitting stroke play ain't polite, but at least the others may continue immediately if you do it by the menu.

In AS, I see some responsibility for my partner - I'd only leave a game with a reason & after due excuses.

After all, this is only a video game and anything can happen IRL. A player leaving properly can't be blamed too much. I just hate those who cancel the game in a rude manner with the intent to gain an advantage.

I don't understand much of it either. If your looking for perfect rounds this may not be the game for you BAZZA13 but looks like you like it enough cause you have been here for quite some time.

It's quite simple, if a player quits on you without a legitimate reason then don't play them again. Problem solved.

Come back to me for a translation, piz :)

Except for "effin" - ?aussie for f*ckin'?

Bazza: I disagree - people will quit with or without "legitimate" reason just because they are human beings.

I second the proposal to block quitters from playing until their game is finished.

Taking the ball won't work for those (most AFAIS) who quit between holes.
