PC Version isn't going anywhere and it's good for players that now we are a bigger company with more resources :) Nothing bad is happening with this merger.  Only good things!

Not here. Equipment and ball prices have never changed from what they originally came out as and I doubt TG will arbitrarily raise prices across the board.

More important is the answer to your question but I doubt we'll see one.  :-(

Interesting!  WGT's got some culture changes to make IMO

Why? Game fixes, yes, but culture? What is going to change for you and me now?

Think of culture as how they do business. Business as usual is ignoring fixes in favor of features that generate income.  A culture change, "Good enough" is not in our vocabulary, means we'll get those fixes before features.  A culture change is asking "Why does it take so long to introduce a new course. What do you need to fix that?"

Its best conveyed from the top by example.  Back in the day, there was a company that sold high end cookware via an annual catalog.  The best, top quality, stuff used by chefs around the world.  No second tier cookware.  4 or 5 days into the 2 week $300,000 catalog photography the company guy responsible for the shoot sees some proofs.  "Yeah the contrast could be better but good enough.  After the shoot is done, proofs go to the President.  He hates the photos, "our products look crappy, and we say we sell only the best!  Scrap it and re-do the whole thing!"  Of course every employee hears of it.  Every new employee hears of it.  The message is very clear.

Easy to fix, and they've done it before:

Replace an item by a successor with higher price. Remember when the G25s came out? Same characteristics as the G20 but more expensive. There are more examples...

Will this improve the game in any way, or is it just for the higher ups at WGT that the merger helps? New equipment/products?

This merger just happened so we're not entirely sure what the details are for long term improvements or changes

Well that was a beat around the bush answer, company's have meetings everyday, and I'll bet this merge happened months ago with the agreement to make it public at that event.

In those meeting are discussions in what direction they will be going, their projected sales, and so on and so fourth. If this is not the case ,then I think we have a lot to worry about with the games future.

If they have no game plan, how on earth can they expect to move forward and grow, like they want us to believe?
