  I just wanted to write to you all and thank you ever so much for the New Glitches that you have bestowed upon us.  I think my favorite is that now when you finish an Alternate Shot game, the last screen freezes and even though there is a winning team, it tells us that the game was forfeited and none of us get out pass points.   You just close the screen and move on to the next game.  I would not be surprised to find out that it no longer tracks our Stats either.   I really don't know how this could be the Best Golf game on the net what with all the problems there are in it.  I see no reason now why I should waist my time purchasing balls or anything else until the game is back to where you can play a game with no issues.   I remember when that use to happen.  And please stop telling everyone that it is our problem....it is on your end not ours.  When I signed in this morning and saw the New Screen all I could say was    OH MY GOD,   but then again  we had new things to upset all of us.  Is just ashame that you can't get the right people in there that know what they are doing.     Thank you for your time.

  We are aware of the new issues that were introduced with the latest update. We are working as fast as we can to fix the issues. Thank you for your patience.

  PEF...you don't have to be Stephen Hawking to know that the sun is hot. Many people have echoed what Ellen has said here, and these latest glitches are acknowledged even by the moderator. Your sarcasm aside, I also have experienced the same issues as I'm sure many others have. It's as though QA doesn't exist...IT guys down load untested "improvements or changes", and the Mods spend the next few days apologizing, assuring us they are working on it, and suggesting a work around..oi vey

  PS...condolences on the Eagles season...at least Chipper has now moved on to blow up the 49ers.

  Anyone that played here 3+ years ago would not agree it's "our" problem. We could play for a week straight without these problems of blue screen, loading, expected error, white screen, and  host of other problems.

  Having a tad of experience in the mainframe era I suspect it's the accumulation of patches and additions to the program without rewriting the entire program.

  Any 3 stooges fan can relate having watched Curly do plumbing..

  I have experienced a similar problem. During my last alt shot game one of the opponent players was disconnected twice. Each time I was taken to a dark gray or blue screen with nothing on it. I had to disconnect twice and get back on to have a chance to finish the game. Then on the last hole, my partner disconnected and wgt said we had forfeited the game for disconnecting three times. What absurd incompetent nonsense!

  Never said she was wrong, just that her summary of the situation was incomplete.

  Nobody told her it was her problem this time because it wasn't her problem.  When they can fix the bugs that are actually on them they acknowledge and fix them.

  The "it is on your end and not ours" attitude (which is both arrogant and ignorant) comes from the fact that you are told to clear your cache at times to fix problems for completely valid reasons.  I have almost 20 years of industry experience.  Without getting into specific details about their architecture, you're just gonna have to trust me when I say they are not blowing smoke up your ass.

  My point, which I probably could have said better, was that it's not all on their end and it's not all on your end.  It never is and never will be. However, it doesn't take a degree in software development, server or DB management to accurately determine who's at fault in a unique situation.
