WGT admitted they are working on it so OP is correct.

Never said she was wrong, just that her summary of the situation was incomplete.

Nobody told her it was her problem this time because it wasn't her problem.  When they can fix the bugs that are actually on them they acknowledge and fix them.

The "it is on your end and not ours" attitude (which is both arrogant and ignorant) comes from the fact that you are told to clear your cache at times to fix problems for completely valid reasons.  I have almost 20 years of industry experience.  Without getting into specific details about their architecture, you're just gonna have to trust me when I say they are not blowing smoke up your ass.

My point, which I probably could have said better, was that it's not all on their end and it's not all on your end.  It never is and never will be. However, it doesn't take a degree in software development, server or DB management to accurately determine who's at fault in a unique situation.

PS...condolences on the Eagles season...at least Chipper has now moved on to blow up the 49ers.
See you in 3 more years when we're relevant again. Thanks Chip.

Very well penned follow up...I know Ellen (the OP) quite well...we have been CC mates for several years. She is neither arrogant nor ignorant. I think we are all sometimes guilty of letting our current frustrations set the tone of our post. I know I've done it several times...even things I meant to be in humor are taken the wrong way, etc.

Anyway, 'nuff said bout that...on to the next topic...lol

I'm certain of that.  I was referring to the attitude that is collectively shared rather than the person.  Apologies if it did not read that way.

Oh and as an aside I appreciate your comments CT.  We can disagree on stuff and not be dicks about it.  That can sometimes be a hard quality to find.

    WGTChampion:

We are aware of the new issues that were introduced with the latest update. We are working as fast as we can to fix the issues. Thank you for your patience.

Since that update, whenever I finish a multiplayer stroke play game, the screen freezes when the last putt is made. I never go to the scorecard, etc. The game and stats count but I have to reopen the game screen. Which has a "the game is over" message. Just a heads up in case that's part of the latest update glitches.

WGT, employ some SCRUM Masters to take these issues to the table with sprints. This is not new technology with software updates and maintenance. Not hard to figure out.

    Product owner, is the customer

Developer has a burn down list on what glitches to tackle, so the the first is getting kicked out of multiplayer games, two person games, blue screens

then create a SPRINT and work to develop these issues, in tandem,,,,

Get a log of server crashes and what is the root cause...

    thanks!

Hope they get it fixed. Just had the same thing happen. Hit a putt to win it on the 2nd extra hole and the screen froze. Bringing it around, the message was, your opponent forfeited, you won. They didn't forfeit; they played well and to the finish.

When I say that, what I mean is that they always say the same thing.  Clear your cookies, cashes or whatever else.   The insinuation is always put to us that way.  Is so frustrating that every time they do updates or add something, there is always something new to look forward to.   And yes I did find out that we do get our points at the end of every game.

Here's something weird that I've noticed since the latest update...

The bottom edge of the meter power tip when you click acts strange,  hard to describe so I finally got some shots of it.   It only looks "tapered" , for the lack of a better term,  when you click to stop it.

It happens when the mouse is released. Nice job getting the screen shot, that had to be quick, left-handed, no less.  LOL

LOL  surprisingly I got them both on the first try.   Well,  first try for both ends of it.   Had to use the first print screen then snip out the part I wanted then repeat for the other side.

I lost a match and I am NEVER supposed to lose a match. I am not convinced that the "Cheating Orb High-Fiverator Muscle Car Gassy fumeration machine" had nothing to do with this.                            Will the new Cats get any of what They think they have all of a sudden?
