There are many CC's on this site, ergo a lot of choices. Our CC is specifically tailored to military veterans from all countries, active serving members, first-responders, their families and supporters. We are a close-knit, medium sized, level 14 club. We have a trio of fine owners who rotate the top chair, a board of directors and 85 CC members. We are well established and well run. We don't chase clashes or leader boards, or other popular "goals".  Instead, we pride ourselves on providing a comfortable environment for those who are serving and have served. It's a chance to be amongst your own. We are skype friendly and offer numerous tournaments. If this CC interests you, please click the enclosed link for our web page, and scroll to bottom RH corner for the join button.

If Colin is an indication of the calibre of members of that club, you could do a lot worse than considering them.

In my opinion, any club that is composed of, or who honours veterans is worthy of respect.

Thank-you Peter, for the kind words.

And thank-you Chris, for your appreciation and support. You didn't mention if it was your mother or father (or both) who served but, if still possible, please thank them for their service.

One of the most respected clubs in WGT, IMHO.

Phiber honoured, very rightly, as the first non staff T Champ perhaps goes some way to denote the class on offer.

Our CC has been established for approximately three years. We don't chase clashes, or offer fancy bells and whistles as lures, or make promises we can't or don't keep. We cater primarily to active military, veterans, and first responders from all allied nations. We also accept family members and supporters of same. We provide an environment which allows you to be amongst your own.

Honor, Sportsmanship, Camaraderie and Fun...this is what we offer.

I have run across profiles of players proclaiming to be Veterans...including their dates of service and the deployments completed. Our CC prides itself on never "poaching", but this is the appropriate venue to advertise. If you are looking for someplace familiar, and have a desire to meet people who have "marched in your boots", then check out A Band of Brothers CC. Our members can empathize and sympathize, because we have also been there. There will be no pending list. You will gain quick entrance, and be honored as a full time member of our CC.

We currently have 90 members (we try to keep it to approx 100 members, to facilitate more effective oversight)  Over the years, we have been as low as 80 mbrs to as high as 110 mbrs...so a solid medium sized club.

We have three owners who rotate the top chair, and a management team which ensures the CC is attentive to the member's wishes and concerns. Our CC forum is an important read for anyone who joins, as a lot of useful information is posted there (as well as humorous anecdotes and music videos). We are also skype friendly, and this is another important venue to build team spirit and pass information. We have many tournaments, which are optional, but CC participation in some form is mandatory. Multi-player games with CC members, contributions to the forum, etc.

If you fall into the categories of Military, First responders, family and supporters, feel free to look us up and read our web page.

    ty for your service,

Scribing a few words in a different thread about Leo (Phiber) has made me a bit melancholy.  I must be growing softer as I age. Who knew that stuff happened even to soldiers?
