balls wearing out

  Anyone else  feel that the balls are wearing out much faster than they used to. I am scoring lower, and usually playing only one 18 hole tourney a day. My 18 hole score ranges from 2 or 3 under to par. Then I play about 2 or 3 alternate 9 hole games. I seem to be buying balls every couple of days. Just wondering??

  20 below?...pffft...that's considered balmy on the Canadian Prairies. To the OP's point, I have also noticed my balls wearing out far more quickly than normal...one shot it's half life, next shot almost dead...really weird.

  Same here TP..... it's going to be too cold for my balls to wear out. I have a three day weekend coming up and I'm just going to hang around the house in some warm flannels and hope that solves the problem.

  They have never altered the life of balls here and have said they never will.

  started riding the bike to work instead of driving. that combined with age is giving me that feeling too!
