I haven't noticed any change in the past year or so.
Here are some rteference numbers for ball durability from past posts:
1 Dot ~ 90 hits
1.5 Dots ~ 95 Hits
2 Dots ~ 100 Hits
2.5 Dots ~ 120 Hits
Hits = shots taken from anywhere except the greens (including a putt from the fringe). If you use a wedge on the green, it will cost you 1 hit. All CTTH hits (regardless of club or ball location) cost 1 hit. Mulligans cost 2 hits (period).
The only time ball durability is not affected is when you are on the green during Stroke play, Alternate shot, Match play, and Skins games using a putter.
