Moderated Again?????

  Doesn't trolling mean routinely perusing the forums?...I would suggest "all day" certainly falls into that category.

  btw...I troll because I enjoy reading what people have to say on a variety of topics. Since you consider it "nonsense", why do you do it?...and why would you even care if you're moderated?

  ps...not sure if Icon mentioned it, but a simple wall post would have sufficed..:)

  Playing alone blows, IMO, and without a decent incentive to do so, AS was the staple for me instead of the ranked rounds. John provided that and the sheer number of strong golfers in the club makes it an achievement, placing in one of the tournaments. Playing solo isn't so bad in a tough club like Cosa Nostra. Always guys to chase and that's what got me over the hump.  :-)

   

  Very well said Jim! Playing alone really sucks, at least to me. When you play alone, it is easier to hit a great score for a number of reasons. You play more relaxed, you can keep your pace and rythm, not much adrenaline in it. On the other hand, alts and mps are a totally different story. You need to keep up with the clock, you have to be focusing on every stroke with long temporal intervals, you are watching your opponents making fine birdies or great approach shots and struggling to stay close.

  Don't have anything against single round lovers but i wish at least wgt could give more credit to the real game (alts and mps) and not treating it like a junk option.

  Haven't played many single rounds to remember a good performance, eventhough i have made some...i still can remember at least 50 exciting-great alt games which make wgt worthplaying. In every one of those regardless the outcome, all the partecipants were really happy and enjoyed themselves!! That's the point of the game, isn't it? In my opinion, alts and mps don't deserve to be treated like this.

  I, who have been here since last July ... and merely a legend who actually gives WGT money for clubs, balls, CC passes, etc., was never UNMODERATED. Why? I see flamebait and trolling  nonsense all day in these forums. Explain that ...

  Right now, I'm beyond caring. It just gives you folks more to do.

  ^^ You're the perfect example. Thanks for proving my point.

  Viewing and reading forums is not trolling. Trolling and flamebaiting is what you're doing, by sticking your nose into business that has absolutely nothing to do with you and making comments like you own the place. Is there a thread in these forums you haven't commented on? That's a forum troll, per sae, who has nothing better to do all day than make over 3,500 posts. Trolling does not mean viewing forums daily for information about the game.

  Perhaps you should review the TOS and posting guidelines.

  Because it was indicated after the first few posts, I would no longer be moderated (which is what this post is about -- being moderated for no reason). And I've been posting here and in CC forums for months without a warning. It was overlooked, as Icon mentioned. And, it's annoying.

  Now, I'm sure you'll want the last word, as you seem to be that type, so take it. Have a wonderful day.

  Relax Wade, I'm just taking what you wrote, and opining on it, without making it personal...(using pejorative terms like you are, could be considered "flamebaiting")

  Firstly, thank-you for clarifying what trolling meant...I honestly had no idea, although I do notice the term being used a lot. The term Hack also eludes me.

  You spend "all day" just reading the forums, but you never contribute a thought or an opinion (aside from your complaints), because that means you have nothing better to do?...hmm...hard to square that circle, Wade. You further state I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong. 

  ok...this is a public forum...by posting in here, vice Icon's wall (as he noted), you made it public.  My nose has broken no rules...you will simply have to be an adult and get over that one..:)

  I strongly disagree for obvious reasons, and neither document would show a hint to your bogus assumption. I rather assume your underlined statement a typical troll.

  You obviously don't fall into the Wiki description, either ... so let's just spell it out so we all know.
