  Agreeded.  But to WGT that and this are different.  That would be costing them money, this isn't.  They will come back on Monday looking to see if this has blown over, or are we still bitching about it.

  BTW, I just saw your post in the other thread from Support, their comment is quite interesting.  I think the dodo is fixing to hit the fan when the troops read that.

  Yep this works wonderful for the Mobile.  Tiny screen, it probably isn't that noticeable.  I just finished a commitment for my CC.  Last 2 months have had shots in my left eye for age-related macular degeneration (AMD).  Due to have another one middle of March.  Hopefully that will be the last of those. Then I get to have lenses implanted when they do cataract surgery on both eyes.

  I have another computer that I game on.  FPS both online and offline.  None of that bothers my eyes like this crap on here is now.  It is not the white wording, that has been here all along.  They have turned it into 3D IMAX with the flashes, and it coming out at you.

  That flashes must be removed. As more customers write to the support as better. I did yesterday and have got a bla-bla-yadda-yadda-answer that they "unfortunally dont have a way to remove ... schwurbel-schwurbel-schwurbel". To complain here at the forum is ok but not enough. If enough of us write to their support, may be they wake up then and remove the flashes. Here is the link:

  Just one concern with it, With the sudden shockwave of light like that, would it be dangerous for people who suffer from epileptic fits.  Can it be turned off.  Just wondering.

  That and the bright light hurting the eyes of people that are ultra sensitive ti bright lights. When i first saw it when I landed on the fairway was a new award of some kind because that is sort of how the awards pop up on screen.

  And No I find no way to turn it off.

  That too I suppose.   I think it might be a good idea to have an on/off switch for that.

  The usual whiny players... In the GAME SETTING there is a choice: FLASH QUALITY. just set it on low and the light won't disturb you anymore! lol

  Wrong. I always use the low flash setting and the  exploding graphics are still way too bright.

  So Tamsach, what you are saying is that you don't like being proved wrong? Right? The flash quality has nothing to do with how bright something appears to be in the game!! Let me guess, it was the flash part in flash quality that got you confused huh? Wow!

  By my clock, it is now the 28th Feb. That is nearly a 3 full days since this bullshhit has happened. And yet, we have not heard one official word from WGT as far as i know.

  3 days people, think about it. They usually get back after a day when something seriously screws up, but not this time.

  But also remember that most members probably didn't even see this junk until Friday night. Unlike most updates that happen on Wednesday night / Thursday morning. This one happened Thursday night / Friday morning. As Thursday is one of my nights off I was one of the first to see it and that was almost 5:00 am Friday morning. So it really has only been a little over 2 days.Hopefully Monday they will see how much the vast majority of us dislike the flashing text and remove it or at least give us an off button.

  +1 . Also there are 2 different threads going on about this update garbage as well . Players are also complaining about this in the Release notes threads . So come Monday morning WGT will get a double portion of feed back on this illustrious brain fart .So hopefully by Tuesday or late Wednesday it will be resolved . The key word being HOPEFULLY .
