  Another one with JPMs game, oppo complained of green speeds (default), then disconnected, and would not play....JPM wins as was 4 UP at time.

  As before well done to those who have played in decent spirit.

  Just finished my game with Stu (SPIN01). Really tight game throughout but I was 2 up most of the way. THEN I miss a simple putt and follow it up with using the wrong grid, and there we are AS.  Stu then gets disqualified through two or more disconnections.

  We then spend the next 20 minutes trying to restart and then conjure up the right position at the 17th Tee. Stu then proceeds to play his best golf with two scintilating approach shots to give him cast iron birdies. 

  Nice game, good chat about Spurs and Bournemouth, and a game between two apparently well matched players.

  I look forward to playing Stu again, perhaps with some regularity, as competitive game are really the essence of playing at all.

  Can't add alot to that Terry, not the highest quality for the most part but made up for it with a parity of determination. Look forward to a knock any time bud.

  There has been some communication between Nico and LadyChipper.  There is a possibility that we may restart match.

  I am open to that possibility -- if Karen wants to finish it on the course and not withdraw as it stands with me +4 on the 14th tee, then I am willing to do that.

  Gentlemen:

  I do not particularly like the outright rudeness based on assumptions you make in some of the above posts.

  While Mark's opponent Paul should have gotten a PM from him (I have seen it) on why he left suddenly. If you had not heard his wife fell down the stairs and had to be taken the hospital). You decide instead to cast dispersion on an entire CC without any merit behind what you say.

  If Karen's opponent had bothered to count it was her third disconnect so was booted by WGT through no fault of her own. This is not her problem but a well known WGT problem - last evening I tried three times to get to play my daily round and each time it ended early due to disconnects, heck when I was traveling this weekend I could not get through one hole due to an unexpected error.

  If you have any grievances I suggest you check the validity of them before you make an assumption that is nothing more then a tabloid headline without basis.

  easy edward thanks for clearing it up and hope marks wife is ok, but can u please explain why he conceded the game the first time round, went to buy some balls and then wanted a restart which i obliged to, it must of slipped his mind i was leading. like i said i genually hope marks wife is ok, but before she fell down the stairs can u also explain to me please why he was letting the clock run out on purpose 3 times, concedeing holes of the tee, when i asked if he was ok he said everything was fine. this game was live on twitch with 16 viewers that saw this. obviously i would of left a game if my wife fell down the stairs but like u said edward there seems to be some basis to are tabloid headlines, dont u think??

  She is on crutches and out of work for 4 weeks with very limited mobility due to her knee being injured in the fall.

  You also caused Mark to leave The Peoples Club on his own due to your badgering here and on his wall.  An apology may be due.

  I would just like to say our Inter CC Captain Nico prides himself on these tournaments and puts in a lot of hard work organising them. The same with Paul who could have better things to do on a Saturday evening if he knew this was going to happen, and the same goes for the 16 or so of us watching and supporting on our SEL TV station from around the globe.

  But this by no way is a slant on peoples club, all games have been played with great sportsmanship up till this one, and im sure all remaining participants will be a credit to their clubs.

  And as per Pauls message. We had an hour viewing lots of crazy stuff. Cant understand this at all to be honest.

  In the match between JPM & KDavenport - We have offered to retake the game as it was when the forfeit/ DQ took place. JPM invited her twice on the same night after the game went south and according to him she declined both. Ladychipper has offered to relay message to her. We are still waiting for a response. TY for your help in this regard.

  So this is the story then? Mark's wife falls down the stairs, he forfeits the game while behind. Within minutes he comes back online, does not explain the situation, but endeavors to start an 18 hole Matchplay. Hereafter he plays the first few holes like nothing is going on until he starts losing, then he lets the clock run down, concedes holes after he lets his opponent hit his shot etc etc etc etc. This on live streaming with 16 people watching.

  If this is the case I am truly sorry and I hope you can forgive my rants. If not I feel we were extremely courteous in above messages, as it truly was a despicable display of  unsportsmanlike and cowardice behavior.
