  Just finished my match against Torben which was also plagued with problems due to my wifi.

  I finished the front 9 1up and Torben graciously allowed me to restart my router and I would reinvite him to play the back 9. I won the back 9 1up as well to record a 2up win.

  It's a shame because it distracted from what was a very evenly matched game between us which proved to be very close.

  Thanks for the game Torben and I apologise for the hassle it may have caused

  Played my game with Mike (2ndXaround) It was a seesaw match with the lead changing back and forth. We saw a lot of rather funky shots as if WGT wanted to ensure we went to 18 holes. I had a chance to win on the 17th and 18th but putts just ran by the hole. Mike won on the first extra hole.

   

  Note : I had accidentally started with no driver or 3 wood due to playing a CC irons only tournament. After the 3rd hole we realized the error and Mike was gracious enough to start over. Class move by a class player

  Just finished my match against JimShaw39 (Jim). Jim is a excellent golfer and great competitor as well as being fun to golf with. It was a close and hard fought match by the both of us. In the end I managed to earn the win 2Up. Thanks Jim for a great match.

  cousinzeke1 defeated fourdude in a 18 hole match play game on CONGRESSIONAL C.C.

   

  Very enjoyable match with Tim (cousinzeke1) he was hot with the putter on the back nine and won 2 and 1. Hope to remain friends with Tim for as long as I am on WGT. Southern England Links is lucky to have such a fine gentleman. Thank you for the game Tim, see you soon.

  Played Shellpot today in our match.

  Shellpot had just moved up from TM to Legend the day before and was not used to the new tees etc. Proved a difficult day for her and I was playing pretty well.

  I took the match 7 up but take nothing away from my oppo, she fought well and in the circumstances was unlucky to face me in good form.

  Shell is great company and I'm happy to play you any time Shell.

  Good golf and banter all around. Very nervy finish though

  PEnglish3 played his game vs MarkCouples tonight live on Twitch, watched by 16 club members.

  After struggling to arrange a suitable time for the match, they played the game tonight at 7.30pm. PEnglish3 was 1Up after 5Holes, when his oppo hit his balls into the rough and pond numerous times. Mr Couples then decided to disconnect and forfeited the match. PEnglish3 waits and reinvites him after waiting and then he claims that he doesnt know what happened. He also does not offer to restart where the match ended 2dwn after 6, and demands to replay. Penglish3 concedes.

  They replay the game, and MarkCouples goes 3dwn after 5. Things then get silly with him letting his time expire, conceding holes on the tee etc.

  What a terrible advertisement for a club of this magnitude. If I were the owner Id delete this member in seconds. Worst sportsmanship Ive ever seen on WGT (Wonder if he knew this was a voluntary friendly match?) A Disgrace.

  Some other members also voiced their opinions on his wall.
