he should be getting home any minute from school. My wife has already hung a piece of notebook paper on his computer screen warning him just in case. Better to be safe than sorry

Now this is really sad, I genuinely hope this gets sorted very quickly. I've read of many reporting headaches along with other health related problems. I'm sure WGT will wise up and rectify this, it's a serious problem

I just had this reply to an email I sent to WGT Support this morning...

    Dear Cole,

Thank you for your message. We have been hearing from many players today with their displeasure with the new text animations in the game. We have heard you and are working on a solution to the issue. Unfortunately there is no way at this time to remove the new animations. Thank you for your patience.

    Sincerely,

    WGT Member Services

I just hope I don't have to be too patient!

    Cole

This is a golf game, not war or space battles... these flashing announcements do nothing to enhance the gameplay.

My eyes are light sensitive and these flashes physically hurt !!!

Please remove them ASAP, or at the very least add an option for them to be turned off.

Glad I'm not the only one that finds that flash annoying.

It's amazing how WGT can respond to trivial threads about selling equipment, but fall silent about something as serious as this. My missus finally thinks I've well and truly lost it. She's walked in on me looking like Roy fkn Orbison trying to play on here.

The programmers should concentrate to remove superfluous distractions to the visual aesthetics of the game like the obsolete and by now unnecessary dialog box that ends replays. Or the ghost display of the player in the vain hope that you can decipher the height difference of the target marker through you player.

But the programmers not only don´t remove that junk. They add even more and more annoying distractions. I really hope they get rid of that new junk as soon as possible or at least add a configuration option for it.

And the content of the target marker should be added to the display on top and then the player avatar shown solid at all times. In my opinion this is the obvious way to do that display. And in my experience almost a guarantee that the WGT game designers find a way to screw up a relatively simple job.
