  Thanks DB and was that really so hard? Maybe it tasted like vinegar, but WGT were way off the mark on this. Took long enough to respond, which is pretty (nope, extremely)  poor IMO.

  I cannot understand why it cannot be re-set to the way it was previously.....there was nothing wrong with those acknowledgements.

  And as soon as the changes are made, I will play.

  Why not just Put it back to how it was l for one will not be thanking wgt for any half attempted fix

  However due to the response we have been getting we are going to make some tweaks to the new messaging.

   Called it! Set the update in place Friday and gone for the weekend. Back Monday and already working to make it right after checking out the reactions. LOL

  You know what the great accomplishment is now on this game?

  Finishing a round without getting DQ'ed!

  What is being done to remedy this and why getting worse and not better?

   

  Headache instead of Happiness caused by consistent failing to fix the important issues while dolling up the graphics and effects....lame

  This is great news... all I wanted was to have the announcements back as they were, without the bright flash.

  I do hope that 'Birdie', 'Eagle' etc will not be the new bright announcement... this will still cause problems as they come on so fast and bright, those of us with light sensitivity will not have time to close our eyes or look away... and not seeing such a good shot through to the end will take away the pleasure of making such a good shot.

  Why can't you just go back to the way it was before? There was nothing wrong with it and i can't remember anyone ever complaining about it.

  This is a good point, if you totally remove the messages, I think you'll get many complaints from the younger players that like a virtual pat on the back.

  Anyway, I look forward to the changes taking place ASAP.

  I vote for putting things back to the way they were before.  Lots of us make birdies and eagles all the time but not so many Dbl Eagles nor HIO's. 

  It is not good if I have to wear sunglasses to play WGT indoor online golf.  LOL!

  Thanks for this, much needed and appreciated. But I do have to ask why on earth anyone would think this was a good idea?.  Whoever is in charge of thinking up this stuff needs to be put back on making the coffee and going out to get the doughnuts.
