  I am having a lot of faith that this "enhancement" will be gone by tomorrow morning and going to buy $10.00 worth balls rather then use the starters again.

  I agree with the posters above - please remove the flash for on fairway, on green, making par and Birdie. Save it for Eagle, Albatross and Hole in One.

  Anything other then that will continue to bother you best players which you should want to keep,

  So Shoe?  My idea didn't fly?  I thought Icon prancing across the screen in his tutu with the messages would work great!

  I look forward to seeing the changes reverted and appreciate the fact that WGt has listened to it's customers. As others have said the old system was fine.

  If you do keep it for the few instances you mention the brightness will still have to be toned down.

  Other alternatives for celebrating special shots (and hitting a fairway or making par don't constitute special shots) you could use improved audience clapping etc or even a toned down multi-colour fireworks type burst that wouldn't burn the old retinas the way that glaring white flash did.

  So there are other possibilities (sound effects included) that you could develop to accomplish the same type of thing in a less distracting manner while still accomplishing your goal of highlighting great, not good, shots.

  Well done WGT for listening and (hopefully !) speedy action. All players would be happy for a maintenance outage NOW to get rid of this unnecessary piece of programming. Not sure why you need it even for the special shots.....but if you do then please tone it down.

  Hopefully, in the mobile App ( I also use I Pad daily play) you will NOT even introduce it. Not needed, not wanted.Please look at the usual requests for game actions such as crashes, blue screens etc in PC game. I Pad has none of these problems ( but no multi-play of course)

  the messages are fine, just a little too brite. i like knowing when im on the fairway and when im on the green. there's nothing wrong with knowing when you par or birdie either. praising a good shot is a good feature of the game. keep up the good work, regardless of the criticism. thanks.
