New In Game Messaging

  I read posts that say the issue has been fixed, BUT...I've cleared all my cache in multiple browsers and the bright flashes are still present.  This was as of 4:54PM EST on March 1, 2016. (I put the year in because it may be 2017 before things actually revert to the glory days of WGT).

  Was there a downtime last night or are we still waiting for the patch to put in place?

  Never mind all this crap what about the basic game it is crap simply because very few people, as they report from around the world, ACTUALLY get to finish a game without all falling down!!   It took me eight minute this evening to FIND players as so many have left!  What say WGT?????

  I wasn't trolling. I really do think our 'forum terrorists' would complain about anything. Negotiating with terrorists and giving in to their demands is always a bad idea. Mountains out of molehills. Much ado about nothing. That's all this was ... It won't matter how much WGT tries to improve this game, there will always be people who see the glass half empty around here and find a reason to complain, rather than just enjoy the game.

  I want to address the changes that have been made to the game.  We made these changes to try and improve the visibility when someone makes a good shot.  We felt that when someone hits the fairway it was an accomplishment and should be called out as such.  However due to the response we have been getting we are going to make some tweaks to the new messaging.

   

  1. We are removing the Messaging for when you hit the Fairway, hit the green, Par, and Birdie

  2.  We going to look at toning down the colors/brightness.

  3. You will only get the messages when you get a Eagle, Double Eagle, or Hole in One.

   

  We will look to implement the changes as soon as we can.

  In primis, WTF are you to call the forumers terrorists? You don't even know the meaning of the frase...as you well don't know the difference between demand and request. For the record, many many players protested peacefully in order for wgt to reconsider the flashing thing. Well...guess what? WGT did exactly that. Reconsidered the whole issue and gave credit to the voices which stood up against. Recognized the reasoning behind the appeal and decided to remove it. Now...that is called, reasoning in a democratic frame of action...don't bother to understand it. You belong to a slave-eunuch state of mind who sees terrorits, enemies all over the place. The only course of action you know is licking...well, happy licking then.

   

  Luckily for us, WGT does not see things the way you do. It's true that always will have the last word on anything, however does not treat people like objects or subjects but morelike customers.

  you can not read or understand.

  there are a lot of posts over this issue from players who rarely post in the main forum including myself 

  as for improving the game the last update was not required and certainly did not enhance the game.

  To have over 400 players that voiced in the forums there would have been thousands more who did not. i know of at least 100 players  myself who did not post , most on my  friends list
