Hi YankeeJim, I am in UK and in recent months found it tought day by day to complete any game!  In the past week it has taken up to six games before it being completed and NEVER with all original players, mostly losing two and sometime es three.

Do WGT actually realise that people must be leaving their outfit; it might look good on their stats that so many games are being played but a majority would be 2nd, 3rd and fourth attempts just to get one completed.

Do you know if WGT are adressing the problem of their failing Servers/SystemClient?

    Kind regards,

    Freddy1016

I'm not privvy to anything WGT is doing but I can tell you the multiplayer games are definitely messed up. I don't think its entirely on them but they did something a while back that messed it up and haven't done anything to make it better. That's what makes this latest fuss even more aggravating-adding that junk and not addressing the connection bugs.

    I have no clue.  :-(

    3. You will only get the messages when you get a Eagle, Double Eagle, or Hole in One.

It's a great thing this was resolved this quickly.

But you left out a few, cause you get the same bright flash when you get the "in the cup" message. I holed out (for par, sadly) today and got a shock, lol. And when you land in the rough off the tee, or in the bunker, the message is the same as it was for the past few days, which is brighter than the regular one, we had before. No biggie though.

The only problem left is (and most have had that happen to them), when you're putting for eagle from a longer distance and you see the ball actually has a chance of finding the hole. You get so caught up in the moment that you actually lean in towards the screen for that last couple of feet.............. and than you get flashed, ouch. A small price to pay for the satisfaction you get, though ;-)

YankeeJim, Many thanks for that info.  What the players require now is a new challenger to WGT.  I have friends in good positions and one likely candidate to get a GOOD site going is an international business Billionaire.   I shall speak with the man next week, I shall even suggest the creators, also friends of mine.

    Take care.

Vegas *** and complain we all have gotten caught up in it, but you spoke the truth , without a doubt  this is the best game on line period, any other games from cards to dominos compare none.   i loe this game, but I am human, and dont agree with a few things like when I lose a ball and someone quits and freezes game, you lose your ball. not fair.

Just curious Jim, what did they do?

Yes, it's great that those with light sensitivity problems can now play most shots without being poked in the eye by the announcements... but "Eagle" and "Hit the Flagstick" are still very bright. Those shots are, for me, rather rare and therefore hit with an unexpected force that leaves me dazzled and seeing spots for some time after. I've not had "Hole in One" or "Double Eagle" announcements, but I guess they are the same.

    An analogy:
The school bully often pokes the class nerd in the eye. The nerd complains and the teacher tells the bully he cannot poke the nerd in the eye so often, it's not good for the nerds eyesight... why don't you just poke him in the eye when he does something really good!!!

Not really sure, Roger. The update when they changed the camera views and created the no concede mess is what started it. Multiplayer connections have been troublesome ever since.

I personally think it has something to do with the way holes load now. You first get a reverse putting view of the green while the rest of the hole loads and there's so much loading going on that if there's a balky connection among the players, the game stalls. I don't know that to be the real cause, it's just seems that way.

"Hit the flagstick" also flashes. As if we needed more incentive to pull out ;-)

    Sounds Logical.
