Uneven is another game, while Best of par are EXACTLY the same holes played in WGT. If I made eagle at Kiawah 11 is valid while playing Kiawah and not playing Best of Par5, WHY?!?! It's another silly decision in this absurd management....

How would you alter the average system to allow for courses with pars of  (27)54 and (45)90?

O yes it is - it will count to your eagles award.

Concerning the headline, Bo4 do count to the average (at least, the old one did).

Bo5 would not count much because it's difficult to come down far enough - did you ever play your average, 62, there?

Bo3 would be worse than red tee tourneys, dropping the average to 34 or something.

    This decision is well thought-out.

It shouldn't not so diffficult to calculate. It's a matter of math. Let's say that in 18th holes there are 3  Par5 in average (running from 1 to 5). You play 18 holes BOP5 making 18 birdies. Consider it 1/3 less and you obtain 18 normal holes played at -12=60 and so on. It could be a fair method, imo. The real matter is why to consider Uneven for the average. I repeat, uneven is another game.

Instead of making extra calculations, they excluded Par3s and Par5s from the calculations. Take it like a man ;)

IMHO, there's nothing bad in considering the Unevens. It's more difficult, we all know that scores may be higher, thus they are less likely to contribute to the saturated average.

(BTW: Any news on saturation as a Champion?)

But, why are you so outraged about it? Any negative consequences for you?

    1) Because of saturation, this isn't even almost an issue.

    2) BoP4, as alosso stated, IS figured into average

    3) LOL @ "why are BoP3 not figured into average".

I'm just tired of WGT. While the clashes (the most silly competition ever created) are running become almost impossible to play an alternate. Blue screens are more common than daisies in a meadow. Everyday there is some new bugs..
