Forfeiture rule?

  Hi All,

  First post. Hopefully, I don't upset too many people.

  I'm wondering how other players would feel about a new forfeiture rule in Head-to-Head matches. Lately there have been quite a few players who will remain anonymous in this post, that forfeit *every* match even before teeing off. So, then I try to find a new match and the same player comes up and again forfeits. I've chatted with one other player who has had this same problem.

  My question is this: If a person forfeits from a Head-to-Head match, how about having a rule that will not allow the person from joining another Head-to-Head match for at least one hour?

  Are you talking about "cancel" or "forfeit?" Cancel is when you don't like something when you're still in the multi-player lobby. Could be anything. A player you recognize from a previous game and never want to play again. Lots of orange flags...I have lots of people cancel when my name comes up simply because they don't want to play from 12 greens. I get it, it's OK.

  Actually forfeiting before firing a shot is pretty rare. I've seen if maybe once or twice, but that's it.

  I do indeed mean forfeit, not cancel.

  One particular person, I say person, it actually seems almost like a bot, forfeits every match immediately. This can and has gone on 5-6 times in a row. I asked a friend of mine that I play regularly if he had ever come across this person. Before I told him why I was inquiring, he said "Yes, that guy always forfeits!!" Except, replace the word "guy" with a pejorative of the male anatomy.

  It's highly frustrating. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar situations and if anything can be done about it.

  BTW, I have blacklisted him in my profile settings; however, he still gets matched with me quite often.
