What?! Seriously? That long?! Are you sure about your calculation, Robert?

Unfortunately, it is accurate. Here's a thread with the numbers all the way to L127:

I agree. It can be discouraging. And it's always baffled me a bit as to why they have it set up that way. But it is what it is.

Hat tip to alosso who compiled the numbers and put in a nice spreadsheet format.

    SimonTheBeetle:
Should I wait or start playing with those Cleveland 588s at L26 - L31?

If I were in your shoes I'd take all 3 of the lower level wedges now and learn how to use all the shots with them. The higher ones come with more accuracy and will be there when you get there but switching to those 3 wedges now will have a dramatic impact on your game right away.

There's no real reason to have the top level wedges at the Master level unless you have an agenda.  :-)

You need 2,268,312 points for level 100.

Is it like the higher level you get, the more XPs you need to accumulate for advancing the next level?

True, the distances grow to each level and they explode after L90 which is still below 500,000 XPs. L95 is above 1M and L99 exceeds 2M.

Ouch! I guess the proverb "Ignorance is bold." is made for a guy like me. LOL I saw the "Reference Table Level 1 to 127 vs. XPs" thanks to Robert1893. What an effort and dedication!

Thanks all especially Alosso, Jim, Robert for your valuable comments, opinions and suggestions.

    Solarflares:

    Simon.

With the lower-level Clevelands , you can achieve reasonable stopping-power at close to maximum-power - using a ball with a spin-rating of 3-4.  The volvics I sent you should be sufficient - but the L51 Volvics are even better with those wedges.

    Dear Solarflares,

First, I missed your name which should have been specifically mentioned when thanking to people. Sorry and please be aware that I can't possibly thank you enough for what you have done.

All of your advice and tips will definitely be a precious guideline for my game progress.

    IOU a lot!

    Warm regards,

    Simon

It seems you've been given all the advice you can probably deal with so I won't add much.

Other than to say that once you start playing with different spin you may come across the one *** (censored by WGT for being an offensive word for a Chinese person I assume) in the ATV's armour, top spin.  When I used the old Cleveland wedges I could use full top spin to get an extra 5 or 6 yards out of them with neutral wind.  The ATV struggle to go more than 2 or 3 yards further, even with full top spin.

It's not a good enough reason for me to consider changing them as I'm more than happy with them but I'd like to be able to overhit them a bit further.

I cannot comment as to how many extra yards you can squeeze out of the new Cleveland wedges as I've never used them but I assume it will be the same as the old ones.
