I am getting really tired of playing games, wearing out balls that I paid for, only to have some idiot quit the game and then the whole game crashes and I get no credit for what I have done, only a worn out expensive ball.

It is not my system, nor my connection causing the problems....just "Game is over" after another player (usually the game host) quits or gets booted.  WGT should reward players of those games a sleeve of balls they are currently using, and the player that just quits without using the forfeit option should be banned for a day or two and booted perminantly if they continue.

There must be a way of tracking what causes games to fail, and if it is not the fault of the players connection, then they should be compensated for any associated cost of that game.

It would be one thing if this was an entirely free game, but it is not.  Those of us players that have spent our money on this game, expect a system that runs smooth and is fair to the players in the event of game crashing issues, but currently wgt just takes my money and moves on.

I never have issues playing solo, only when playing multiplayer games, so I do not believe it has anything to do with my system.

I also think that quitters that don't sign out properly by forfeiting, if they are using a pay ball should have to forfeit it to the winner of the round. Just a thought, but may bring a little more respect to the game :)

    ScubaDrew808:

    FWIW.

I send WGT a Trouble Report when/if the game crashes and/or I'm not given the option to continue the game by myself.

I then send WGT Customer Support a message explaining the circumstances noting the sent TR, the quitting players screen name, and my expectations for compensation.

Customer Support generally adds a ball of the appropriate make/model to my account to compensate me for the lost hits on the ball I was playing. For me compensation usually also entails reimbursement of a lost CC Pass and a 2nd CC Pass to compensate for 1 I had to buy to replace the CC Pass lost due to the other player's quitting causing the game crash.

It is ludicrous to expect WGT to compensate you with an entire sleeve of balls, it is ludicrous to expect WGT to automatically compensate a player without knowing the particulars, and it is ludicrous to expect WGT to penalize the quitting player without having any clue why the player quit.

If an opponent is using a make/model of ball I don't use why would I want that players ball if they quit and I'm the winner of the game?
