so i uninstalled it (the flash plugin, not actual flash) and went back t 10.045,

Chris-Just for s's and g's you should take a look at the Iron browser by Chrome. It's a simple browser with zero bells and whistles that's out there for people to mess around with. It isn't supported and anything you want you have to go find and install the plug in for. Fortunately, you don't need anything. It comes with the old Flash 10 installed and stays that way. The only thing I ever use it for is the game. No home page, no forums, no nothing. The game client is bookmarked and when I click it I'm in the game screen, like right now. It's free, too, right here.  GL

Not trying to rub it in, but my meter still works smoothly. The game-play is smooth too. If I run into load problems, its usually something going on with my modem, or my ISP. Otherwise I have no complaints. And I'm not defending WGT either.

I simply keep my computer optimized (per WGTniv), I have a Anti-virus program that runs silently in the back-ground, keep my Adobe web site storage cleared before every game, have the game-client bookmarked making it the only window open during game-play, and wait for the club name to change in the lower left corner of the game-client before making a swing, i.e., playing slowly. I'm also using Flash player 10.2 with Firefox 3.6.13 and have no meter problems.

Its important not to have other things running on a computer when playing the game per WGTadmin2. Downloading, and additional open windows during game-play will use up RAM resources that will cause flash to have poor game-play, and meter performance.

Why does mankind make the Jewish people a blunt end of a joke?

"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that cursed thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Gen 12:2-3 (NKJV)

The milk will never stay on the bread!  You're better off just drinking that.  Just sayin'.

Yankee i'm downloading iron as i write this, thanks for the link i'll give it a try. My firefox is usually o.k, but its just these callaway balls, because they seam to make my meter skip from just before the fade line to around the ding.  Its got to a point where i'm pretty accurate after seing the line dissapear, knowing its going to land roughly by the ding so i know when to press, but sometimes it just skips an extra 2 cm's so it ruins everything.  But it shouldn't have to be like that, guessing where to press after a skip, but it doesn't happen on the legend balls??But i don't want to miss using these callaways either?

Anyway, i'll give Iron a try, hopefully better than chrome because that made my meter worse!

So far so good with Iron....Smooth meter.  The only trouble i've got so used to the skip just before ding how it used to be, a smooth meter is catching me out because i'm always waiting for the usual skip, but a smooth meter is bliss now i'm used to it(cross fingers).  Even navigating this page is quicker!.  Other browsers must overload your cpu with unnecessary information.  Thanks Yankee...So far so good.....But hope I don't have to return cussing the meter in a few hours!!!

LMAO. You probably will because it will happen. What doesn't happen is a preponderance of those skips. Sometimes you get a bad or slow load and the usual communication interference but if you stay aware of that you should be in a lot better shape. I only get hosed when I get into a groove and play too fast.
