  Alas, in your situation you might want to care more for the game than for the numbers, because your gap to the next tier @67.00 is enormous!

  So, either you continue to play around and do not care for scores and average, enjoying the game and the views (my favourite!), or you try to become better by analyzing your game, learning the shots, doing some course management, maybe buying new equipment (wedges!).

  Certainly it's fun to hone one's skills, but, please, accept my notice: Improvement will bring you to the next tier, Master, with longer tracks, and this almost inevitably requires better clubs, that is more spendings.

  Still, it's a rather unexpensive pastime, but not free.

  You are ;-) Logic never had anything to do with this. Or you wouldn't need 500 rounds to reach TL and only 200 to reach CH.

  I think the 'logic" has to do with the notion that Legend was the basic "destination tier." All the tiers below Legend were considered stepping stones. Tiers above Legend were considered to be "icing on the cake" for the truly accomplished players.

   

  I think there's some truth in that. I'm pretty sure there are a helluva lot more Legends than there are TLs and Champions. I have played with several of those, but a lot more fellow Legends.

  It's why the ability spread among Legends is the highest also. Now, I've read all the posts about "red tee Legends" and the like, but in my experience playing multi-player, most of the Legends I've played against are good, solid players. Some days we putt well, other days we don't. That tends to be the biggest difference.
