It makes no sense, gave up on Alts because of Discos, trying to play 4-way stroke, no good got screwed, you just have to foul it up. Why don't you just make the game one way, and skip the notion of "Multi-Player" Play, because it's all BS.....

You could make it single player and avoid the known issues.

Wonder why it is that many players play multi-player games every day with only a rare problem, usually related to a player in the multi-player game that has a poorly maintained computer.

Another thing WGT has no control over is the myriad connections/devices between a players computer and WGT's servers.

In other words - get a clue.

Amazing how things are perceived sometimes.

I play many multiplayer games.  Many go smoothly without a hitch, many do not.  While some folks seemed particularly vulnerable to disconnects at one time, nowadays it appears to me to be completely random.

Yesterday I saw a particularly insidious occurrence  in consecutive multiplayer stroke rounds.  Different players each round save for myself.  All was going smoothly each time until one player got blue-screened.  The subsequent resets each brought the players to the game client screen without the option of rejoining the round.  And what did the other participants see?   "(Player A) has forfeited the match."

I'm pretty sure there isn't anything in anyone's computer that can generate such a scenario.

Frankly, your pronouncements blaming these issues on 'poorly maintained computers' are as asinine as your views of the complainers and, as such, do nothing to help solve or  alleviate the issues.  They just make you look like a pompous fool.

I have to agree with Robbo....the comments from players saying it is the end users issue is laughable......note very few of them ever play multi-players games...so how would they know?

I gave up a year ago playing Alt.....was the best format but became too unstable, and I know a lot of players like that. Now I play it very occasionally.

Yes there are things we can do, like closing the browser after every game........but really, as paying customers, why the hell should we have to jump through hoops to spend money? Most of the players I play with are friends who do optimize their system for this game.......and there is no guarantee that the came will not end prematurely.

Even WGT have admitted they have issues and it is a priority to fix.......to not apportion blame on WGT is ignorant IMO.

    @Apex.

I agree with Robbo and Alan. I play multi-player games exclusively. Almost everyday. Some games go fairly smoothly, maybe one or two disconnects. Other times you can play 2 x Alt games over a total of three holes. Recently happened to me (1-1 btw).

"Wonder why it is that many players play multi-player games every day with only a rare problem..."

What are you basing this statement on?...have you done surveys?. Do you play a variety of multi-player games, and it's therefore personal experience?

"In other words - get a clue."

    ^^^ gratuitous, childish and unhelpful.

ps. I also agree with CD on his statement to the OP.  If M-P games are becoming so frustrating, then try single player format.  Nothing to lose.

    WOW  Really????????????

When player A loses connection in alt shot and Player B's meter goes nuts on the restart what is that related to??

If the game has become this sensitive regarding flash isn't it right wgt should strip their product and reduce the load on players?  Or is it our responsibility to jump through hoops and learn about software and computers to play this game?

3 days in a row playing mp...and get COMPLETELY kicked out of the game.  No blue screen,  just boink!  and you're gone.  There goes the pass,  the game points and every other damn thing you can think of.  It ain't just me...the four of us who were playing are in different f'ing countries for crap sake...same thing happened to us all.  So don't tell me it's my computer...or theirs!  It's wgt's ineptitude...PERIOD!  So maybe you need to "get a clue".
