Supersonic Is Stealing & Breaking The Vid Page

  Video viewer at WGT. Lately you have been putting up ads that hijack the scroll bar. As the page involved serves other providers, you are making it difficult to use the page since the screen is randomly being yanked to your ad. I also question the ethical nature of this. Viewers, members of WGT, are supposed to be compensated for viewing. Your ad does not do this. Are you reporting views to the sponsors? If so, then we should be compensated. 

  Well now you`ve done it . Cant watch the ads for 5 views now keep getting the Supersonic player and it wont load . I was getting over a 100 views a day off of that one alone every day. Hopefully we will have a down time tonight and it will get fixed then .

  I believe you sent it to the wrong people. I think that banner is from RadiumOne not Supersonic ads.

  Could be. We all pretty much assumed it was SS due to the fact that the ads were dupes of what we were (sometimes) getting paid for.

  hi guys

  as far as I can tell, that page is hosted by them, so I dont believe we can do much about it. ill ask around but i wouldn't think there is a big chance for us to be able to change it

  I, at least, don't care about the ad itself, just the hijacking of the scroll bar. 

  That kind of tactic should be banned by WGT.

  The page has the WGT header on it. Aren't you the host of it? We do not leave your website to go on it. Don't they pay you (or us) to be on it? Does True and Live Gamer carousel pay you or Supersonic to be on YOUR website? Are you saying that Supersonic has the right to make a web page on YOUR website almost completely inoperative but their is nothing you can do about it? Confused.

  ^^^ There's the point of contact for any 3rd party affiliate to place adverts here, and elsewhere, via wgt.

  • Once there click 'contact' (top right corner of webpage).
  • Send in a request/call  to discuss costs for your own advert*  à la Live Gamer/Supersonic Ads.
  • Offer copious amounts of in-game credits to members.
  • Just ignore any requests for help.
  • Sit back and rake in the $$$'s

  Seems to work for those that have agreed a deal with wgt to advertise on here already... failing that you may wish to apply for the Client Relations  (I kid you not) job on offer via the same page.

  *Johnny's House of Shame will get you started - 30% cut is fine for me.

  Maybe you would be able to change it if you knew that most of the ads now running are for some competition for WGT. All or most of the ads are for a new golf game called Winning Putt. The game looks pretty good. Go check it out.Then see if you want to fix it??

  The ads causing the problem in the hijack banner are the same exact ads that Supersonic plays in the vid window that you would get one or two credits for watching.
