Durability comparison

    Just complete a durability observation with Calloway Tour i(z) legend ball;

    Approximately,  115 shots, with 41 putts;

    total                                                                 110                            41

     

    Based on this information and the info reported by Andy, putts are being counted towards the durability of the ball.

     

    The above observation from a previous post including putts was 110 hits.

    i have used balls with exact same durability to the callaways and seem to last longer so obviously wgt need to fix the problem because like someone stated it is misleading

    I thought it would be reasonable to have about 110 hits excluding putts. The number you had was 69, which is awfully low, even lower than some 1-dot balls (Tour GI-SD has 90 hits).

    I think few others ought to test the level 45 balls to be sure. I personally do not find any issues + other tests we did, but obviously, more people the better

    If I got 110 hits not including putts, I be happy.

    I'll be taking extensive notes once this ball has gone through its life cycle.

    Hi There;

    Been playing some alt - shots lately and notice how quickly I have been going through golf balls.

    Assuming that the level 45 Calloways should get 120 shots and using a 9 hole alt shot round I should get 13 rounds before a ball wears out.  This assumes one shot per hole either on the tee or off the fairway.  There is no way that I am getting this type of durability.  Please check into this. 

    I will be incognito myself for the next little while.  I apologize to my friends, but this does not sit well with me.

    Have to agree here. I started to play a game yesterday, and noticed my ball hadnt much life left. Could have sworn i only started using it just before that. Probably 2 9 hole games. Will try and see how many shots im getting after this 1 runs out (which probably wont be long, lol).

    Not that I have noticed anything out of the ordinary about the Cally S ball i use. But to add to this series of testing........

     

    1 thing came to mind....    I wonder if a ball would last longer without adding any spin( both top or back spin) than one that is regularly used with adding full top/back spin.

     

    Maybe this could be added to the testing scheme

    LMAO, don't yall realize that WGT can tweak them and make them last however long they want to. They definately don't last as long as they did when they first came out. they will probably tell us that we need to clear our cache though....lol
