Durability comparison

    I agree that there does not seem to be a linear relationship between dots and # of shots.  I've only been making comparisons between the WGT balls though.  My first result of WGT B-ES was 28,75 Hits/per dot (sample size Kiawah 6 nine hole rounds, with 4 shorts from light rough, 2 from heavy rough, 1 sand shot)  Ball was taken out of play at tee-box on second hole of 7th nine hole round. 

    Caveat -  Although I've not been formally diagnosed with OCD, my wife suggests that this post is ample evidence to prove her suspicions correct.

    I'm in favor of bringing it back to holes rather than shots.

    Far less confusion and a heck of a lot easier to calculate.

    You start a hole its less one off the count.

    Fairer all round !
