Just wondering how you personally go about choosing a specific ball. I've tried several different balls, basically looking for rather balanced attributes. I'm looking to try a more expensive ball but not sure what to try. I'm currently using Callaway soft chrome +33. I do like this ball better than others in this price range but just moved up to master and want to see if a different ball might help me a little more. Thanks

Also, do you have a favorite ball and what is it?

I also use the Callaway soft chrome +33 ball. It's a great all-around ball. But I would say my favorites are the following, in this order:

1. Nike 20XI-X RZN, L81+ (550 credits)

2. Nike 20XI-X, L71+ (450 credits)

But I'm too cheap to get those and pretty much stick with the Callways. Maybe after I build up a boatload of credits, I'll start buying the more expensive balls.

Good question ...... I played the same ball ,Nikes L 71 for a long time ....................until i tried those slow X balls .........got used to them .....now addicted to slow lazy on my part ball ......... i am spending to much for being lazy with the game ...lolllllll . I for the $$$ for most serious player Nike L71 is the ticket for me ...........then :)

That's the ball I was using before the Callaway. I really liked them for the price.

That's your best buy ATM.

Given that all your clubs are L36 - L48, those fancy L70 Nikes might not show their true potential. Save credits for better clubs, then use top balls if you want top performance.

Great advice from alosso...once you graduate to higher level gear, the more expensive balls provide a nice advantage. I like the Nike L71 (like frap)...it's a great ball for the price.

In the meantime, the Cally will serve you quite well.
