I'm also a Cally L33 fan. Not the soft though, not yet anyway. I still have a fair few of the old Chrome balls I'm working my way through.
I think I'm right in saying that, using the old system, these balls have the best dots/credits ratio of any ball available. When I see the price of the top balls here it makes my own ones shrink right back into my body : )
The key is to stick with one type and learn exactly how it reacts on any shot. Sure, you may be a bit shorter off the tee but if you can hit your long irons to within 10 feet of the pin you'll still post good scores. Maybe even better than the next guy who plays a mega buck ball but doesn't really know how hard to hit it for that tricky between clubs shot.
