It could be me....but something seems off

  At first I thought it was me since I got promoted to legend and the adjustment to the greens. I have been having lots of putts lip out and roll over the hole that would normally roll in. But then I had to play 2 18 hole rounds for tournaments and they were at the tournament master tourney greens and it was still happening. This has all been since the last update. As I said it could be but I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

  SGTBilko, I too have experienced the same problem. I had just swithched to the new Callaway i(s) balls and assumed it was the new balls. Curious if you are using the Callaways or is this a new hiccup to get used too. What say you, SGT? Just hackin! EdII

  Be thankfull you can still play tournaments since the update....it's saying in not old enough now!...maybe im getting younger ..lol

  back to topic tho....i too have noticed this since the update...tried a few different putter's and still the same

  I agree, I thought it was me having a tougher time on Tourney Greens (I played them pretty well in Master Tier RG's), but for the past week or so, seems you need to be more precise in putting...in fact I played a practice round last night on VF greens, and precision was key as well.

  You guys are missing something big here. Lip outs happen when the speed is wrong. Welcome yourself to your new Tournament green speed, Sarge. What, you say? You've been putting on Tournament speed greens all through the TM level, you say? Yeah, well Tournament isn't as Tournament does. LOL, something like that.

  Legend speed greens are 10% faster than TM speeds, even though they're named the same thing. I have verified it myself and WGT substantiates it here. Legend greens are tougher than TM greens. Slow down.  GL

   p.s., This also applies to Masters putting with TMs, like in AS games, but most Masters are playing 20-25% less power on them.

  You know Jim, you just confirmed my thoughts...when I was playing BPB on Tourney greens, they were not a lot faster (IMO) than the VF greens...but once I moved up to TM seems like every missed putt ran 2-3 more feet past the hole.

  Another subject completely... but is it just me or are tourney greens on new oak full 18 rg damn slow... can't remember leaving so many putts resting on the lip in the same round...

  I think the greens have changed since the last update, not a lot but a definite change. I had a putt today from 3', dinged it at the usual spot on the power bar and it came up 6' short. Also seems like more lip outs, I'm not a legend yet so still putting at TM speeds.
