    Hello,

I have been active on WGT for almost 50 straight days now. I wanted to make sure I was going to get "hooked" before looking for an active, engaged, CC. I'm currently Master/55. My stroke average is 63.53 and I'm trying me best not to move up to the next tier. I do okay with speed and elevation, but matching those two factors together at greens that run 12+ is still a guessing game for me.

My course I probably play too much is St. Andrews. Congressional, Olympic and Merion are a few that I'm afraid of right now. I have decent equipment, but it is really hard for me to hold uphill approach shots to fast greens...even with max spin.  I'll find myself laying up at times on par 4; figuring playing in with an upgraded wedge is my best way to par those types of holes.

I tend to play 9 hole match play the most often. I like stroke play, but don't always have the time for it. I can schedule time for it, and that is mainly why I'm looking for a CC. I'd like to get into alternate shot play, and similar team formats, just for fun.

I'm competitive. I will always strive to get better. That is just in me. However, I'm not a grinder. I'm in it for fun. I'm not going to pay to enter a lot of tournaments. That said, I will be active and I'm not afraid to upgrade equipment periodically. I'm not looking for an environment where there is external pressure to perform, I put enough pressure on myself. I guess I'd describe my perfect CC as being individually competitive, but mutually supportive. Although I'm hard on myself, I'm a great teammate when things are going poorly for you. I value the same in others. I will consider CCs with reasonable probational/trial periods, but I'm not going to jump through a bunch of hoops.

Personally, I'm in my late 40's. I live in Upstate NY. I have a teenage daughter and will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary in January. I play WGT casually every week night, usually in 9 hole match play format. I can reserve 2 or 3 nights a week for stroke plays and tournaments if your CC has scheduled events. I'm a long time Everquest player, so I'm familiar with the ins and outs of participating in a virtual environment shared with real people. I have Teamspeak, but don't always like to be bound to it.

My real name is "David".  Falcon Dave comes from my support of the Atlanta Falcons. I'm a life long fan. I was raised in Metro Atlanta, and moved to Upstate NY 8 years ago. I have at least a casual interest in many sports. When it comes to participation, I'm occasionally outdoorsy, and like to take day hikes in the Adirondacks. I have mostly given up golf in real life. I once played several days a week, but it got to the point where time and money became obstacles.

Anyway, I know this is long. I just wanted to put enough information out there that someone would be informed when considering me for your CC. Please don't be informed if I don't join immediately after hearing from you. I'm very loyal, so I want to make a good decision. I look forward to meeting many of you in game.

    Warm Regards,

    David

    David,

I just sent you an invitation to join The Golf Masters Club. Please check us out and, if you like what you see, we'd be very happy to have you with us.

    Hi David,

I see that our club owner has already left you a message on your wall. We are The Freedom Golf. We do not impose a long list of rules telling you what you must do on here, just ask that you try to use your free pass on your 1st game of the day & hope you enjoy the club! Hope you find what you are looking for even if it is not with us,

    MrS
