Shot Clock Too Short for Difficult Shots

  The time allowed for making a shot is too short for challenging holes, or wind conditions, or difficult shots.

  In one case, I was having a very close game with an opponent, and one shot was especially difficult. Time expired and the game expired resulting in a forfeit. Not a pleasant user experience from the perspective of either player.

  At the very least, if no other solution can be found, increase the shot clock to 60 seconds instead of 45 (I think it's 45 but it seems to start at 42 for me). One minute per turn is not unreasonable in such situations. In any case, most of the time the full 60 seconds would not be used.

  Apart from blitz games which have a maximum time of 60 seconds, the shot clock can be varied from 30 to 90 seconds by the game creator. If you only wish to take part in games with a 60 seconds or greater time, then you need to select that option when creating or joining a multiplayer game.

  Yep.

  When I create a ranked stroke play game I always set the shot timer to 90 seconds.

  I'm not sure we're referring to the same thing. I'm referring to the 3-hole stroke play for earning coins. The big "Play Now" green button that then shows a list of rooms you can choose to play in. All the rooms I played it seem to have a 45 second shot clock. Is it possible to increase that to 60 seconds?

  I think the OP may be referring to the mobile game, which uses a 45 second clock.

  On The  Mobil app there s a question at the end of play sometimes asking you    'are you enjoying this app?' there s suppose to be feedback if you submit a question. I don't think they have enough troops to man the ship.   I recently played The  Mobil app only: Oakmont  tourney but it said I forfeited which I had not. No response yet from my inquiry. It is early on west coast. From my past experience if you do submit through email it is usually faster. Mobil app questions seem to take priority and  more professionally done. By the way there is a lot going on in app for 45 secs. Time option be decent add.
