Have been a member of  a few clubs , but none have really got me going.

    I need revitalisation.

A club that offers both premium and free tournaments.

A club that has sponsored tourneys, and I am willing to chip in to that sponsorship.

A club that plays CC versus CC matches

A club that participates in Community Organized tounies.

A club with an active forum

A club with some inventiveness and creativity.

I will play everyday given the right incentive.

Take a look at UK GOLFERS ELITE

Also take a look at this thread:

    Announcing UKGE's Tourney Schedule 2016/2017

Our CC year is about to start again, so now would be a great time to join,

If you'd like more info, send me a friend request, and I'll message you.

Good luck with finding the perfect club unless you start one up.

Aren't those ^^^ the same things your current CC promised?. I have read a lot of adverts on here, and most CCs promise what you seek. TBH, I think many owners are just interested in increasing their membership numbers.

In fairness, "participation" by the membership seems to be amongst the biggest problems. I've no idea why people even join a CC if they aren't going to participate..but many CCs carry a lot of deadwood..so whatever.

    Look at his activity

Ours as per my hyperlinks on my advert shows tremendous activity

Look at the club tournaments section and you will see we have a great inter cc squad. Ou r capitano searching for clubs to match our 40 strong squad.

Folk have to take my word for the great buzzing website forum

See our advert regards our great mix of events.

Etc etc etc regards all those points from OP

So why am I writing this ?

Well it's because OP joined our club a while back. He played nothing after posting once on our forum......so I did what I do to inactive folk

Advised them to look for another

On point here ^^^.  Many people start clubs that claim to be everything to everyone...but the membership ultimately decides this.  The old saying "you can lead a horse to water..." comes to mind. Bubbs verified it with his post. People claim they are looking for something specific, a certain CC(s) may provide it, then the member hardly participates?

I applaud those people who do start a club. It's very difficult to grow given the competition, a lot of effort expended setting up tournies, recruiting, dealing with complaints, etc...then getting all members to regularly participate is seemingly impossible.

I am just a simple ice-cream salesman, SEL was way too complicated for me.

Lucky ™ (you trademarked your nickname?) ...after reading what you were looking for in a CC, I'm surprised that SEL was too "complicated"...however, I am pleased you have found a new home..good luck with it..:)
