When we are like 23 yards and [want] to check the green but we can't actually investigate the green because the other camera views are from high above, and you really can't see anything. You should be able to scan and every area of the green and fairway, the entire course. I'm not sure why they don't include extra views or angles, how hard can it be?
When that happens, try switching to your Putter and then click the camera icon about 3 times to switch to hole-reverse view. Often, that will give you a better view to use for your approach. Then, while in that view, switch back to the club (and shot type) you want to use for your approach.
