AFrey6: Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that we should be able to change balls at the completion of any holes in a round. Come on, WGT!! How hard would that be to accomplish?
Apart from real world analogies, there is game programming. Here, the bag is locked through the game (following the golf rules for clubs) and the balls are included in that lock. Though it's certainly possible to change, there are three obstacles:
- It's a change which must be planned, programmed and tested,
- it costs work time, thus money,
- it's to the company's detriment concerning financial and stability consequences.
As a logical consequence for us, ball prices might increase or a totally new pricing concept would appear - pay per game or such :(
