Erm, I reached master tier and L60 in 3 months and with all starter gear. Then bought the L59 G20 set, Ping wedges and the same putter I still use and got to Legend tier in the next 2 months. Without any prior knowledge about this game. Like I said, all it takes is reasonable reflexes, time and a working brain. And that was before the new system, all it takes now is to beat enough of really bad legend players in MP and you're a legend yourself. Happened to "her", lol.
