    Daskino:
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in rain."
Time to play. I'd like to be with you.

Great great film Luciano, Blade Runner v Gladiator which is best?

Common disturbing theme is both died at the end! What are you trying to say lol.....

Oops, I can assure you two I had not thought about it. :D

But the match topic is really "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe".

Forget the rest (and the end of both movies). ;)

So heres our scorecard. We played a pretty thin match. Lovely lady Brio I must say. I´ve never shot so many good putts on the front 9 at Kiawah Brio, for that I´m sorry. Lovely short game almost came to 3 chipins for birdie. Hope to meet you soon at the tee Bree.

Well Dave's write up of the game does not do him justice, your play was superb! As today no hole was won or halved on par! it was all birds all 8 holes Dave was -6 after seven, I was -5! Dave and I traded birds for the first 3 holes which is not uncommon on KF9, and then Dave birdied the next 2 hole to extend his streak to 5 birds to take a 2 up lead, and they were both on incredibly long tough putts, I could only manged to flop to under 6 inches on both of those holes, then i took hole six with a bird to come back to 1 down, we halved hole 7 with birds (both just missing eagles with our short game) and then after a very good meter run, both had bad meters on the 8th tee off, Dave fared a bit better as he was about 26 feet below and to the left of pin, me sadly was off the green to the right but I still managed to chip to decent tap in range for me...... but Dave would have none of it and sank that incredible 26 footer up the side of that hill change the direction by 90 degrees and then slide sideways to the hole putt for bird WELL DONE! and finished the match 2&1... (insert golf clap here) Truly one of the best and most enjoyable games for me on wgt, (even if I did come out on the wrong end of the score, pfft) the golf was incredible and I can't wait to play you again Dave :)

I wish you the best in the next round :))

I would Like to thank Luciano and Simo and all in the Italian Golf and Country Club for allowing me the privilege of joining you on this incredible journey, it is for me one of the memories that I will keep dear from my time on WGT!

    Hugs to you all

    Brio

Scorecard of my match with KyRock75 -

That was a good match not so much of high quality play but it sure made up with plenty of tension and the pressure of a very close game.  Both of us traded the holes back and forth through out the match and the game went down to the very last putt where only a few cm separated us !

I was lucky to take the lead early when Rock made a mistake with the green speed and three putted the first hole.  At the next hole I increased the lead when Rock's tricky down hill putt for birdie slid by the edge of the hole and I made my short up hill putt.  Rock was very unlucky on the 3rd hole when his birdie putt took a nasty turn at the last minute hit the hole hard and lipped out !  On the par 5 next hole Rock drilled his 3w some 280y to leave himself a putt of a round 25 ft, which he sank effortlessly for a great Eagle and cut the deficit to only 1 hole. Still stunned with what happened at the previous hole, I some how managed to take the next hole when Rock over hit his approach shot and missed the difficult breaking putt and I made my short tricky side hill putt for birdie, back to 2 up again. The 6th hole was halved but not without drama, as Rock was again a little unlucky when his birdie putt was hit slightly too hard and lipped out.  Rock came back nicely on the difficult par 4 7th hole when he stuffed his iron shot to about 3 ft and my approach shot landed hard on the bank above the hole and flew to the back of the green, back to only 1 up !  We then halved the long par 3 hole after both missed long birdie putts and I managed to survived a short testing putt for par, still 1 up going in to the dreaded last hole !  Rock made a good play when he opted to shoot for the left side of the green and leave himself a medium length up hill putt for birdie.  On the other hand I decided to go for the pin and finished up in the rough just one bounce short of the putting surface.  Things became interesting when i fluffed my chip shot and was left with a tricky breaking putt around 7 ft under the hole !  Rock's attempt for birdie and take the match to sudden death extra hole climbed the hill steadily, then made a big turn near the end and rolled down toward the hole and just shaved the edge of the hole !  It was a great try by him and gave me a huge relief as I managed to make my par putt and ended the match !

Thanks to Rock for a great game and to my lucky star for making through that tough game ! :-)

my card score with Mike, very good game for me, but mike is unlucky with the putt in the hole #1 and #7, and in the approach of hole #3, hit the flagstick.

thx for the game mike, see you soon

    Here it is...

It was a pleasure playing Amanda, as always great sportsmanship and appreciation of a decent shot.

Threw a lot of stuff at her too, but her putting was immense, clutch putts on 4 from 16 feet for the half, 5 from 12 feet for the hole, 7 from 11 feet for the hole and 8 from 35 feet for the hole saw off any thoughts I had of pinching it! Every time there was a glint of light she drained the putt.

Enjoyed the game Amanda, good luck in the next round.

    Cheers

    Monty
