would it be possible to leave the putting grid on while setting up a shot so that you can see the break when selecting the power on the meter?

I like this idea and it has been talked about, a way to lock the grid for the entire green but no news on if/when this would be implemented. So far the best way I have come up with to putt is to set your line and choose your swing meter level before actually touching the swing meter, that way you just have to match where you chose with your meter. Visualize it I guess? :)

Can't you do that now by going to Menu > Options, then turning the "Putting Grid" to ON (and if you want also) the "PIP animation During Putt" to ON (only if the Putting Grid is turned on)?

I have no such options from the menu on the "play now "screen. Am I missing something?

Those options are in the menu of the game client listed as game settings and during a round in the menu listed as options.
