    How will this effect WGT?

Nike said they will stop making balls, clubs and bags!    :(

No news yet as Nike just announced this. Since Nike wasn't to specific on their time line and WGT still needs to discuss this with Nike, we probably wont have an answer in the near future. Once we have something definitive though, we will make an announcement. :)

    HMMMM

Well now that my Nike clubs are soon to be a collector items be advised, I want 5 times what I payed for them, the "sell equipment" price you have is totally unacceptable! My price is somewhat negotiable though.

    LOL

I wonder what clubs Tiger gonna use when he makes his "big comeback"?

edit: given the number of wgt players who use Nike balls, I'm wondering where the loss of wgt revenue is going to be made up...$7 per sleeve for Srixons?

ct - Tiger could possibly go back to playing Titleist clubs & balls, if he indeed does try to come back. Big money rules the sponsorships, so you never can tell for sure!!

I don't think Tiger will be back. He tweeked his back just walking around Firestone last month.

Me either. With all the ups and downs he has gone through in his career, coming back is unlikely in my opinion. Plus all the talk of his retirement....

For Nike equipment here, its still very much up in the air with the recent news. Now this is just speculation, but I don't see the equipment going away but maybe changing names? I'll try to let you guys know if I hear anything on it but most likely when there is a decision, there will be an announcement made. :)
