  Thanks for the input Sham. I know that things right now are up in the air but i would like to ask something. Will we have some time before the final announcement to decide how to handle this or the final word will find us unprepared?

  What's to be prepared for? It's not like Nike is going to repossess all the Nike equipment already out there. I'd be looking at what manufacturer is going to replace them here.

  What's to be prepared for? It's not like Nike is going to repossess all the Nike equipment already out there. I'd be looking at what manufacturer is going to replace them here. 

   

  Unprepared means that if i can stock some Nike balls before the withdraw, i would love to do that. If all of a sudden every Nike item goes down in the pro shop, i won't have that chance. WGT does not have a stock of Nike balls...if it  had there would be no problem.

  They sure as hell do. As a matter of fact, they have quite the unlimited supply unless Nike takes all their computers and programmers away.

  Did you think they were in boxes stacked on shelves or something?

  It won't be the ability to produce them, but the legal right to produce them that may get taken away.

  No worries, wgt will simply jack up the Srixons to $7 per sleeve...lol

  Just need to look at it from a business point of view.  Consider stores that have alot of inventory on NIKE equipment and balls.  Nike, is not going to say, you can not sell our equipment anymore.  At that point NIKE would have to reimburse every store that has NIKE equipement and balls.  And that would not help their bottom line.

  When the inventory is gone, which include wholesalers, and distribution centers, these places will not be able to turn to NIKE to buy more.

  As for virtual equipment, as long as WGT continues to pay royalties to NIKE on their equipment and ball sales there might not have any issues with WGT allowing them to use their brand.  However, there will be no new equipment in the virtual environment.

  That's just silly, it's actually like The Matrix.  They're all in bio pods.  Once they wear out, they get flushed down the tube.
