This Is Why You Don't Challenge Your CC Mates

  Some interesting things show up as you look at the Transgressional membership:

  1. 83 members

  2. 35 Champions

  3. 4 Champions under level 100

  Now compare to the club I belong to where we never set tees below default tier:

  1. 92 members

  2. 25 Champions

  3. 6 Champions under level 100

  I doubt if red tees have made much difference at Transgressional. Much more important is experience. If tees made a big difference I would expect more Champions at levels below 100.

  ranked rounds = meat and potatoes for me, it kinda gets boring after 8000 rounds or so.

  red tees = fast food, occasionally fun and breaks up the monotony.

  personally I like to mix everything up - less boring, no?

  kudos to those who only eat meat and potatoes, however the world is made up of more than that and a lot of people like variety.

  dougie was generous enough to throw up a challenge for our cc with gifts, as quite a few in our cc do - we just don't do ranked round challenges much, as a group we have played quite a few of those and they go stale.

  we actually play more ul, ultra fast tourneys nowadays compared to before, just to break up the monotony.

  Still can't figure out why anyone cares what anyone else shot from whatever tee's. Doesn't matter in a match, alt, or skins game as long as all are on the back tee's.  On a lighter note, I'm amazed Serge shot a 24.  Didn't think he could do that if you let him chip from the fringe on every  hole.  : )

  Nat ,why did you post this ? i'm still having nightmares about that damn comp  ,stimpmeter was set at 40 ffs...ok i need to shut up now or it will be another session with the therapist talking about Metallica...lol
