A combination of FF Version 48.0 + Windows10+ Adobe Flash (Ver 22.0.0.209)  works perfectly for viewing videos on here. Provided I update each when required I've never had an issue with videos - and yes I'm well aware of HTML5 situation regarding YouTube.

not hijacking paul but my link plays from wgt page without needing to use other links in firefox just saying

It sure doesn't work in Fox 38 or about 12 other browsers I have on this computer.  How about letting the world know what version you are running, I know Scott doesn't even have the answer.  Is it the latest and greatest according to Mozilla?  This isn't the only thread you have stated it works for you, but you fail in all instances to suppy any information.

When youtube switched all vids to html5 is screwed all that are on flashed based sites, such as this one.

This is the only way alot of us can view vids in the forum now.  Link that takes you onto youtube and actually view the video there.   I can see a picture that Paul posted, but not a video.  Normal is just a black vertical bar on the left that does nothing.  Looked again.

    EDIT

Paul's is a picture that takes you to the vid on youtube.

i was having trouble to watch on chrome just downloaded latest firefox browser sry for not sharing

No, I would not of questioned it if I could.  Someone else in another thread said they could view in Comodo Ice Dragon,  I have version 26 and I can't see them.

Don't know if it's a version issue that prevents or youtube changing to html5 for the videos.  The music thread is just a bunch on black vertical blocks that now show no videos or anyway of playing them.

Have read many many things concerning from outdated flash to cache full to javascript disabled.  I am sure I am not the only one having this problem,  trying to find some solution until WGT does something within the forum to fix the issue.

Don't use IE but tried it and downloaded version 22 flash in an attempt for it to work.  Read one place says html5 is supposed to convert to run in flash, others say no.

I apologize on behalf of my badly behaved countryman.

Been a while since I lived in the UK, but I always thought it was a term of endearment....as I was called one frequently :))

But do as Scott says to take it further. Fact is, there is a wide mix of society on here, sadly some are immature imbeciles.

But most who I have met are good folk. Male friends and join a good CC (if you haven't already).

Starting to think maybe win10 is correcting it, and allowing to run within flash.  Read somewhere that the html5 vids were supposed to convert automatically to run within flash, if a html5 player was not available. Tried current IE with 22.0.0.209 but run win7, did not show vids.

I have confirmed using both the latest versions of Firefox or Comodo Ice Dragon and ver 22(latest version) videos do work.  This also using win7

Apparently older versions since the change to html5 by youtube will not work on the forum.  Going to youtube itself allows viewing.

If you right click the video, the bottom line will tell you html5 on both video here and at youtube.

Thanks to all who supplied information for tracking down.

I was not really offended. Been on other game where you called every name in the book to rattle you. I had my list of insults ready if he pushed it further. Lol

This thread seems to have split into two separate discussions, lol. Anyhow, on the video issue, WGTChamp posted this response in another thread if you haven't seen it.

    WGTChampion:
Hi Everyone! We know that youtube links no longer work. I'm not sure at this time what the official plan is for this or how long it may take to make changes if that's what they're planning. I hope to have more details for you next week.
