It isn't as simple as that,

    Actually it is!

he put blame on the game for moving him back to the back tee's when it is a very easy fix. Get a longer driver. It isn't that expensive, and if he's enjoying it why not try to get help or spend the money himself.

Wouldn't that be covered in the statement he "just wasn't interested in spending money" ?

Also how exactly do you derive all that from this?

    firemangeorge:

Anyhow. Not knocking WGT. It is what it is. I used to play this game for the simple fun and enjoyment but when they moved my retired, senior *** back to the pro tees, well that was the end of the adventure.

    Been fun. Take care.

because you don't have to spend money. There are free offers!!!!

does the statement by the OP "just not worth it for me personally" read as familiar?  my nickle.

    WGT should prohibit flounce threads.

    Many other forums do.

flounce thread?  never heard of it, explain please.  my nickle.

hmmm, first you want me to "google" a word/phrase, i do not rely on google to supply me with such mundane information.  i took it to the user to explain, and you have taken offense?

you then presume to use a sign off "my nickle " without acknowleding the orginal source?

    shame.  MY nickle.

There's a thing called google, search the word.

    my nickle

Yes, instead of asking someone to explain a word, some people actually research things that they don't know about!! You don't care about mundane words yet you're replying to a mundane thread! Irony I tell you... sheesh! :)

I can use my nickle whenever I wish because you've used all your nickles, I still have nickles laying around so you're out and I have some left on my desk so there! :)))

over 7 years he has missed 14 charities,

This December will be the 5th year for that event , this past July was 3 years for that event .

Not every one here in WGT land spends time in the forums , reading / commenting .

Maybe he just to proud to ask for hand outs , Unlike some of the multi askers we have all seen in the Christmas give away events .

I dont have many credits but I am willing to offer this player a better putter if it will help and if he wants , I am also willing to bet that I could get 3 players to each get this player a better wedge to make a nice set of 3 , And I know one player that has said several time about how many credits he is sitting on , Maybe he will man up and offer a driver .

    a totally lame reply.

the wgt forums do, and have, discussed many various subjects of interest since i first became a playing member in 2009, they are not mundane!  only some entries.

however much you admire what "Google" can do i do not.

in my immediate search of the 2 dictionaries i have at hand on my desk the phrase "flounce thread"  does not appear.  in that moment of research of the 2 individual words there was not a satisfactory explaination that would allow me to put the 2 words together as a phrase that made good sense, hense the request for the user to explain.  i wasn't trying to be flippent, just wanted to know what it meant.

i have many nickles yet to use.  no offense was meant, none was taken!  my nickle.

way to take my light hearted attempt to lighten up the thread and turn it negative =( lol!!

In the 10 seconds it took to search I got this:

    Flounce

"when a member of an online community announces they are leaving, usually after a protracted disagreement with other members of the community."

You seem very lost. It's okay, some people should stear clear of modern society.

While we're on topic, maybe you're not fmailiar with the word mundane

    "common; ordinary; banal; unimaginative."

I would have to say anything and everything in the world golf tour forums would fall under this catagory. Disagree? show me the thread proving otherwise!

Only person that has several posts that is non mundane would be YancyCan :)

    Big deal, he isn't interested...

Speaking of researching, he plays CTTH, and uneven lies with a friend mostly...he played a lot in April until he turned Legend in May when he played 12 times total, 1 time in June, 1 time in July, and 0 times in August...pretty obvious he lost interest just like he said!

    At least he was honest!
