It is March.  Every day I play golf when it's not 40 outside, there's heavy wind.

Well that's no use cos I'll be out on the course playing real golf, not sat at home playing some computer game!

what makes me laugh is these scores posted in ready gos 57 58s on st andys in hurricane winds lets get real here these guys winners or cheaters or is it wgt just putting up impossible scores for us to try and beat. the fun in this game seems to be dwindling away especially the putting side of things. ball lipping the cup every 3rd or so hole or dropping 2 inches short. some of us spend $ toward the game why not make it enjoyable wgt

to be honest, i don't really pay close attention to the other competitors scores as i'm too busy concentrating on improving my own.

57's & 58's are very achievable with a lot of practise (In eagles/birdies total distance missed accumulated,  I've been less than 4ft from hitting a 57 on St A's on a couple of occassions). If you've hit 1000+ rounds on WGT then I'm pretty sure you'll get to know the courses what shots work best and if you're good, you'll get to know the greens inside out, so with a bit of good fortune low scores are a distinct probability regardless of the conditions.

do some folks cheat? maybe...maybe not. show me some proof?.....In real life, a few tour professionals have been caught cheating (VJ Singh springs to mind).

but let's not take away the honours for the truly better players of WGT by thinking or quietly whispering that anyone who hits a 57 or 58 has to have cheated to hit that score because it's simply not true and grossly unfair.

here's the rub....i can play just as good in heavy wind as i can in mild or moderate. it's just i like the conditions to be balanced....and being a scot...i like moan.

    Stay lucky!

This wind is pissing me off. I'd like to be able to hit a ball reasonably straight, not coming into the fking pin at 90 degrees. Max 20mph or else it is like taking a piss into a fan.

Here's what the weather's actually like at St Andrew's right now in real life.

    Tuesday

The mainly dry weather will continue with the best of any brighter weather towards St Andrews and Dundee, where it will be quite warm. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a little rain in the west. Westerly breezes easing.

    Wind is 10mph max lol.

Yupps in real life..it's actually mild weather. But on WGT it's blowing a gale.

I must agree, seems every tourny i play in has gale force winds. it just seems unrealistic. also, why is the green speed based on tier, i play on tournament greens all the time, it would be nice to have some variation. i think that would add to the challenge, it's very hard to constantly be changing for different conditions.
