I'm not sure if this is the way statistics work currently (I assume not), but here is my suggestion to keep statistics relevant.
Just as you need relevant games within your tier in order to advance to the next one (not just a low average) shouldn't statistics work alongside this?
In other words, statistics reflect on exactly the same games as the ones used toward you tier level.
Any thoughts WGT?
