Woods don't have much spin. So even the best Club/Ball combinations will almost always roll a bit. If you have a smooth landing zone and calculate hight and wind effects correctly you can still get the lenght right.
When using Irons with Spin 4.5 combined with high spin balls the ball often stays where it is touching the ground first. But you have to play a lot for about 2 years to reach the level needed to buy the good ones.
The exception where you can get high spin and high precision early are the Level 45 Max Precision Irons. They have a very fast meter so rent them before you buy them. And you porbably should avoid them if you play with balls with meter speed 0. If you have patience you can wait for the next free rental weekend. WGT offers them a few times a year and you still get the 10% discount for buying rented equipment.
