I discovered WGT on my iPad several months ago and love this game. Especially on an iPad Pro. What I haven't been as pleased with is my ability to speak up and offer an opinion. Five months later I still can't post to the forums without a message saying my post is pending moderation.

I understand the need to maintain a well behaved community. But too often I feel like I'm being treated like a child, and prevented from speaking up if I have a complaint that I'd like to share or discuss with other members.

It's very easy to program in controls that would filter posts with inappropriate language or other offenses. But it is very off-putting to be told I'm not yet trusted enough post something that may not be in complete agreement with WGT or their staff before it's scrutinized.

I even wonder if this message will pass moderation. If it does, I'd like to hear other opinions on this topic.

Casey is correct. And don't take it personally. I have been with wgt since 2012, and the only consistent thing is the inconsistency. Especially when applying rules and punishments.

    +1 to what's posted above.

I just posted a request to one of the moderator's wall and was taken off moderation immediately.

Most posts do come through, eventually.

The thing that gets me is that a mod was obviously the first person to read your post (with no response) yet other players suggest you post on a mod's wall.  They are probably right too, this seems to be how you get off moderation.

A bit power crazy though imo, they know the circumstances but you have to ask "properly".

I asked customer service about my forum moderation when I was in the process of verifying my account. I've been playing WGT since Jan 2015, run a country club, and have a verified account but I only have 86 forum posts (which includes posts to my country club forum) so I'm still on moderation. Interestingly, I can post immediately to our CC forum without any moderation. It is what it is and it doesn't effect my play so it doesn't bother me. Hope it works out for you, though. It's always good hearing from a fellow mobile player!

    Cheers,
    Mick

"Welcome to WGT! Your first posts in our forums will be reviewed by a moderator before they become public. After you are approved, future posts will appear immediately."

I am guessing most of these have probably been CC posts......depending on the frequency of posting in the main forum, it may take 20-30 posts provided you have not been too controversial and staying within the realms of the posting guide.

My advice is to post on WGTIcons wall, offering him a pizza and coffee...and he might take you off...

If that fails tell him you will post "those" pics of him and DB in that sexy pink tutu number if he does not take you off moderation

Did you take the time to post to a moderator's wall and ask to be taken off moderation?

    How do I know who's a moderator?

cant I assume that since this post is moderated that a moderator will read it and solve my dilemma?

Or maybe I'm doomed to moderation forever since one of my first posts was a complaint about how WGT members were mistreated...
