Trevjor:
This is terrible situation for a club to find itself in and I hope this helps other owners to take the required steps to make sure it does not happen to them.
Thank you for help or assistance. Trevor aka ( Trevjor )
I'm sorry to hear of the club's sad loss and offer sincere condolences to his family and friends.
This happened to our club nearly 2 years ago, but the owner of the club disappeared and despite extensive efforts to locate him we couldn't do anything and WGT couldn't help us at all.
After waiting several months to see if he re-appeared we eventually had to close the present club down and all migrate to a new one which we formed, under myself as the new owner.
I'm 67 myself now and to eliminate this problem arising again this is what I did.
Most people have a mobile phone nowadays and I have passed my number on to a Director and at least 2 other trusted members with an explanation of what to do in the case of an emergency. Alongside my PC are the Directors phone number and the 2 phone numbers of other members for my relatives and family to contact also in an emergency with the log in details and password.
Of course if WGT had some kind of system reserved for these situations then all would be fine, but.............say no more.
We know it's only a game but to some, including myself it's being able to play alongside friends and the thought of putting all this in jeporady is more than enough reason to set up these simple arrangements.
Hope this helps
AK
