WGTicon:You don't need to hit 21ft putt with 25ft power, simply hit it with 20 power
How do we determine what 20 power is without marks on the meter bar?
eyeball it like the rest of us,
start off by pulling the meter roughly half way, on a 30ft scale thats a 15 ft putt,
so now using the halfway point and then start point, eyeball half way between that, thats roughly 22.5 ft,
Then bring it back a little bit (this is where the feel comes in) and bam, youre now atleast in the ball park of 20 ft.
Then you adjust based on elevation and break...
Same theory applies to any putting scale...
15ft - 3.75 (1/4), 7.5 (1/2), 11.25 (3/4)
30ft - 7.5 (1/4), 15 (1/2), 22.5 (3/4)
etc....
There's also a way in which you can use the avatars movements per how many ft per movement it is, but it's more complicated than just eyeballing the meter itself, so look it up in the forums if you want.
