    DylynJ:
It's really a simple code. Out  of respect for WGT I won't post it but it is entirely possible.

please enlighten us and show how WGTniv was wrong.  it is clearly explained why it is not possible at this point.

    Cheers,

I think he's right about the code but what Niv was pointing out is all the other things that had to change to accommodate the lefty, like the surroundings. He used the example of being on the edge of the fairway where a right hander would be standing on fairway but the lefty would have to be shown standing in the rough. This would have required a bunch of stencil (his word) changes and such and that's what made it impractical.

Not that WGTniv was wrong, he probably repeated what a dev explained to him.  And in my experience my devs would blow smoke up Marketings butt on how hard a new feature would be to implement (especially if they thought it was a stupid feature).

There might be other reasons this is hard to do, I agree there is much more than meets the eye as Niv said,  but I'm not buying the stencil example.

Since they can do this already as shown below, simply by turning my avatar around using the aimer.

After moving the aimer around to aim back at the tee..........

This would be a lefty's position for the same lie no?  Looks good to me!

OK, now switch the hands to the correct position, put the ball in front of the club and re-orient the club face. While you're at it restructure the shot physics so a late miss now goes to the left instead of the right. Maybe you could make the meter go from right to left by flopping it too? I think you're onto something, Andyson.

Not blowing smoke, just sayin'  ;-)

Look, maybe this is just me (yes I am left handed so I can speak) but from the day the first personal PC came out when I was kid they have and will never be oriented to left handed people. As a left handed person I like many others have learned to deal with it and accept it, when I wanted to learn to play golf all we had were my dads clubs and he is right handed so now I play golf right handed. It is what it is gents, now lets play some damn golf!!!

Left Handed Mouse available since 2006

My Mom was left handed, and my brother is also.  I'm a righty.  And like you SGTBilko, my bro plays golf righty.  He also bats righty in baseball and throws lefty.  His biggest complaint is no left handed screwdrivers or hammers.

LOL! Well at home I have the mouse on the right side because of WGT at work it is on the left. I bat right and throw left as well. Tell your brother I have found those but I am still looking for a left handed adjustable metric wrench, there are plenty of standard ones but I can never seem to find a metric one. LMAO!

My parents were right handed in everything but golf. They both played golf left handed. When I first started playing  as a 9 or 10 year old I was told if you want to play until we are sure you really will keep at it you are going to use our clubs. So I learned to play golf left handed. I play right handed now but I still try to play left handed every once in a while. Actually if i hadn't put about $700 0r $800 into my set of Cobras. I might have considered switching to lefty full time. But the investment is just too much to ignore.

left handed golf gloves are extremely hard to find. When i try to play left handed I wear one of my mechanix gloves that I use as workout gloves when my wife and i go to our church's rec center to workout.

Yes but you still have a right handed stencil just pointing in the wrong direction.
